Rock of the First Wife (Kit Mikayi) is rooted in the rocky ridges of Seme. When young Okello and Nyowila meet at a festival organized by the great chief, their passionate union sets them on a destructive path. Their relationship, forbidden by tribal customs, brings upon them a curse so powerful that only Nyowila’s sacrifice at the sacred rock of Kit Mikayi can contain the Chira.

Years later, however, destiny appears to have the same fate in store for their son, Ngeso. As the villagers have always believed, a curse never truly disappears—it remains dormant in the blood, waiting to be revived and passed down through the generations. Ngeso, a child born from a tabooed relationship, must now face the weight of this curse.
